We enjoy working with your ideas, style and taste to create the
perfect cake for your celebration. Whether you choose from our
extensive selection of elegantly simple classic designs or want us
to work with you to create a unique on of a kind custom design,
every cake receives our undivided attention to even the smallest detail.
The cost of your cake is based on size, flavor, the complexity of the
design and the time required for the decoration. To help calculate
cost, here are some average price points. We have many beautiful
Classic cake designs that range from $5.50 to $7.00 per serving.
Custom designs tend to average $7.00 to $11.00 per serving.
Our traditional cake and filling selections are included in both
Classic and Custom designs. Specialty cake and filling selections are
available for an additional 55 cents per serving. Please see our
"Flavors & Fillings" page for the complete list of our traditional and
specialty cake and filling selections.
When should we start shopping for our cake?
Once you have selected your venue, it is not too early to start
the process of selecting your celebration cake. We have found
that most clients are comfortable shopping 3-8 months prior to the
event. However, if we are available, we also do consultations and
orders on very short notice. Always feel free to contact us for any
date or occasion.
Do you offer cakes for special dietary needs?
Yes, we offer sugar free, gluten free and vegan cake selections in
many of our traditional and specialty cake flavors.
Do we have to have fondant as the frosting on our cake?
No, many of our classic and custom designs can be done in either
Swiss buttercream or Bavarian mousse and have the same beautiful
decoration as fondant. However, some other more complex designs
do require fondant for the detail of the decoration.
Do we save the top tier of our cake or need to serve it?
The lower layers of your cake will be made large enough to serve
your guests. The top tier of your wedding cake is meant of you to
save for your first anniversary. However, we encourage you to enjoy
your top tier while it is still fresh. In addition, if you contact us one
week prior to your anniversary, we would enjoy making you a fresh,
classic, 1st anniversary cake in the flavor of your choice in exchange
for an 8x10 photo of your cake. This is my sneaky way of seeing you
again and getting a lot of the great pictures you see in our portfolio!
Do you deliver?
Yes, we offer delivery including set up for wedding and large
party cakes. Cost of delivery depends on the distance traveled.
Average South Bay deliveries range from $39-$59. Unless arranged
otherwise, we complete the set up for your cake and it is ready for
photos before we leave.
Do you provide fresh flowers?
We offer an incredible selection of Sugar Gum Paste flowers in your
choice of styles and colors for your cake that can also be saved as a
keepsake. For fresh flowers we recommend having your florist
provide any fresh flowers for your cake. That way your cake flowers
will match the rest of your event and you will get the best pricing.
We gladly work with your florist regarding design and placement of the
flowers on the cake.
What are the Terms of Payment!
A 10% save the date deposit will hold your day and delivery time.
Final payments in full are due 2 weeks prior to your event. We
gladly accept your personal checks, credit cards or pay pal. We also offer a 5% discount for payments made in cash.
